I appreciate the feedback Asios. I'd like to note we did not perform the repairs on your car. We diagnosed a warning light on. The Toyota alternator for $400 is a rebuilt part. The part I quoted you for was a NEW Denso part. Much higher reliability. The New Denso unit part price was estimated to you for $556 plus tax. We had labor to replace it and diagnosis costs estimated as well to produce the estimate of $840. Our part costs more than the other price you found, but we prefer to use new parts from quality vendors whenever possible. I understand the frustration with the costs of breakdowns and the stress, but you were given a fair price for quality work.
